The APEX WOMEN experience delivers executive leadership coaching as you hike, in Lake Tahoe.
Cherie Leeden was one of the youngest female directors to be appointed to a company listed on a publicly traded Stock Exchange.
There is a severe lack of females in board positions and Cherie is determined to empower other motivated people to realize their potential and to provide them with insight and strategy on how they can achieve their corporate goals.
About twice a year, Cherie volunteers to run an overnight Leadership camp that will push your boundaries. The Apex Women Leadership Course is tailored for the exploration and mining sector.
The experience is an overnight backcountry camping adventure (where participants carry their own supplies, including tent, air mattress, food, water etc.). The leadership program is run over 2 days (1 night). There is also a 1-day option available.
During this time, we hike at high elevation to the breathtaking overnight camping spot that will take 4-5 hours on day one. Along the journey there will be team building, value ascertaining and goal setting discussions. Once at the camp location, we will set up camp and learn corporate strategy building exercises to identify the best opportunities in relation to empowering you to corporate success.
The following day, the morning will be a continuation of the corporate empowering leadership skills, followed by circa 4-hour return hike.
